“He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.” – Psalm 147:3
This is the ministry target and outcome for many women at our Hearts Being Healed conferences. And yet, it is so much more than this.
Our culture has created a hostile environment for women in many ways, especially regarding our self esteem and identity. Women from both traumatic pasts and from functional stable families struggle to identify who we really are and to discover our purpose. This is the “heart” of Hearts Being Healed Ministries… to help remedy this problem… to share the good news that JESUS, the Creator of All Things, The King of Kings, and the Sovereign God of the Universe can mend broken hearts, dispel the lies crippling us and replacing them with His Truth, and set us on a path of reconciliation and restoration to be the women God created us to be, living life to the fullest.
“See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!” – I John 3:1
One thing you can count on at a Hearts Being Healed Conference is that you will be spoiled in the best sense of the word… we want you to know you are special to us and to God. (I love the word lavish in that scripture!)
The very first gift is the joy of the fellowship of many women coming together from all walks of life and various geographical areas to worship together; it’s uplifting and dynamic, and your heart will overflow.
Hearing other women share their story of their past brokenness, then Jesus interrupting their chaos to bring healing and hope, and the new life of victory He gave them, is priceless. You can choose which Speakers you want to hear based on their topic so you know it will be a message relevant to your life.
You will be served a delicious lunch at no extra charge to you, and I do mean served as though you are royalty. You’ll also be blessed with homemade desserts. (Yummy).
Many of you will receive a gift bag, a sort of door prize, which are chosen randomly, usually during lunch.
Lunch is yet another time to fellowship together, whether at a table with your friends or meeting new people from other places. Many lasting friendships are started right here.
The best gift of all is at the end of the day when you will have an opportunity to exchange your old life and ways, perhaps a hardened heart, resentment and bitterness, fear, anxiety, or whatever is separating you from your best life with God, -giving it all to God and receiving healing.
I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. – Ezekiel 36:26
An extension of this “best gift of all” is an opportunity to sign up for our Aftercare program which is a workshop (class) based on the book, Treasures Out of Trauma, where you will be guided into addressing past hurts, traumas, etc., in order to receive healing in those areas, and learn how to move forward in a productive way with Holy Spirit to guide you into becoming who God created you to be, dispelling lies and habits that had a stranglehold over you, enabling you to see yourself through God’s eyes, to define your true identity, and discover your God-given purpose and destiny. These workshops are sometimes in-person meetings and sometimes they are Zoom classes, depending on the location and time.
So, if you have never been to one of our conferences, I invite you and encourage you to come to our Yuma conference this week.
(There will be other conferences later in other locations, including a 20th anniversary celebration at our conference in Chico, CA. Information is available on our website.)
If you’ve been to one of our conferences, but don’t feel the joy I have described here, please come back. Jesus will meet you here, but you must invite Him because He is a gentleman where our hearts are concerned and He never bullies or forces Himself on us. So even if you’re surrounded by other women receiving, but you feel you have not, then intentionally and audibly invite Jesus into your life, and invite Holy Spirit to fill you up with His presence.
If you are a veteran attender of HBH conferences and you’re living a redeemed life, please come again. There’s always something more, always, always, always, because we will never get enough of Jesus this side of Heaven. We need to renew our relationship with Him daily.
“Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.” – Psalm 139:23-24
If you’re living your best life, a victorious Holy Spirit led life, come again this year! Your presence is important to the women around you. Even better, come as a prayer intercessor to pray for the women who are needing salvation and/or healing.
May God bless you all, and

Isaiah 61.
1 The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me,
because the Lord has anointed me
to proclaim good news to the poor.
He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
to proclaim freedom for the captives
and release from darkness for the prisoners,[a]
2 to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor
and the day of vengeance of our God,
to comfort all who mourn,
3 and provide for those who grieve in Zion—
to bestow on them a crown of beauty
instead of ashes,
the oil of joy
instead of mourning,
and a garment of praise
instead of a spirit of despair.
They will be called oaks of righteousness.
