His Testimony

I hope last week’s message, Free or Enslaved, encouraged you to seek freedom. The freedom that only comes from the action of surrendering the brokenness to Jesus is available to every one of us. Yes, everyone! When Jesus died for all, that “all” word means just what it says, ALL!

So many people allow the lie, “I’m unworthy, I’ve made too many mistakes,” to keep them from receiving the forgiveness and healing that Jesus offers to everyone. The problem is that we think it is about us deserving His forgiveness. We don’t deserve any of it. Forgiveness and salvation is a gift. We only have to accept and receive it. Jesus willingly gave up His life so that we would be free from sin’s bondage. Jesus rescued us from sin and death.

“For here is the way God loved the world—He gave His only, unique Son as a gift. So now everyone who believes in Him will never perish but experience everlasting life.”

John 3:16 TPT

We all have debris, the wreckage that remains as a result of sin’s carnage. We don’t have to allow it to remain part of our lives. We don’t have to hold onto it. We can exchange the wreckage for freedom. I think that is a terrific trade.

Once we accept the invitation to be set free, our lives begin the transformation to wholeness. We begin to take on the likeness of our Savior. We no longer are bound to sin’s demise.

“God did not send His Son into the world to judge and condemn the world, but to be its Savior and rescue it.”

John 3:17 TPT

I ended last week’s message with this scripture. Let’s make sure that we embrace its truth and keep moving forward to being debris-free!

“At last we have freedom, for Christ has set us free! We must always cherish this truth and firmly refuse to go back into the bondage of our past.”

Galatians 5:1 TPT

I heard this song last month, and WOW, how it spoke to me. As we experience more and more freedom, we can begin to proclaim to those around us, “Look What He’s Done!”

Look What You’ve Done by Tasha Layton

Look what you’ve done

How could you fall so far?

You should be ashamed of yourself

So I was ashamed of myself

The lies I believed

They got some roots that run deep

I let ’em take a hold of my life

I let ’em take control of my life

Standing in Your presence, Lord

I can feel You diggin’ all the roots up

I feel Ya healin’ all my wounds up

All I can say is “hallelujah”

Look what You’ve done, look what You’ve done in me

You spoke Your truth into the lies I let my heart believe

Look at me now, look how You madе me new

The еnemy did everything that he could do

Oh, but look what You’ve done

Suddenly all the shame is gone

I thought I was too broken, now I see

You were breaking new ground inside of me

Standing in Your presence, Lord

I can feel You diggin’ all my roots up

I feel Ya healin’ all my wounds up

All I can say is “hallelujah”

Look what You’ve done, look what You’ve done in me

You spoke Your truth into the lies I let my heart believe

Look at me now, look how You made me new

Oh, the enemy did everything that he could do

Oh, but look what You’ve done

On the cross, in a grave

With a stone rolled away

All my debt, it was paid

Look what You’ve done

In my heart, in my mind

In my soul, in my life

With my hands lifted high, I’m singing

Look what You’ve done, look what You’ve done in me

You spoke Your truth into the lies I let my heart believe

Look at me now, look how You made me new

Oh, the enemy did everything that he could do

Oh, but look what You’ve done

On the cross, in a grave

With a stone rolled away

All my debt, it was paid

Look what You’ve done

In my heart, in my mind

In my soul, in my life

With my hands lifted high, I’m singing

Look what You’ve done

Jesus’ testimony was the act of giving up His life for ours. The evidence of His expression of love is the redemption of every life set free!

I pray you can say, “Look What He’s Done!”
