Do you let the world drown out your resolutions?

The new year has arrived with new resolutions being made. Resolutions that should be made throughout the year, but we wait for the world’s clock.

The new year, representing a new start.  New beginnings. Commitments face challenges.  The ring of voices around the world that ring in the new year.  Sounds loud, then fades.

Like the resolutions we make.  Sounds loud, then fades.  Veering off the path we go.  Surrounded by the chaos of the world. Health issues, sickness, heart ache and heart break, and truly, the lack of our commitment to the resolution.

That pinched.

Reflection on the past, resolutions that need to be made and stuck to, bring me to the one place that I need to engage daily. When the world voices are loud, the chaos is in the midst, my resolution(s) needs to be more steeped in prayer.

Stay on the path that He promises victory in the end, the one true resolution that never fails.

On our knees before Him is all things.
