God promises us so many things.  Even so, our life will still have obstacles.  Becoming a Christian doesn’t give you an easy road.  On the contrary, scripture says in Mathew 7:13-14, “Enter in the narrow gate.  For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many.  For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few.”

Will you be one of the few?  Life is full of pitfalls because this world is a fallen world. But for those of us who take the narrow gate pursuing God with all of our heart, mind and soul, we find God’s love, grace and His amazing peace.

So when life throws you a curve ball, knowing that God will never leave you nor forsake you, it is worth it all.  Hebrews 13: 5-6

Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” So we can confidently say,

“The Lord is my helper; I will not fear; what can man do to me.”

The world (man) can do some pretty awful things to us, but the world cannot take away God’s love for us, or our love for Him.  It can’t take away the gift from God, the Holy Spirit from us.  It cannot take away our eternity that our Father God gives us. This life is but a moment in time, heaven is our eternal home.

Jeremiah 29:11-13 (a Hearts Being Healed foundational scripture) reads:

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for good and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.  Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you.  You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart.

This scripture says it all.  God, our Father has a plan for your life and it’s a good plan!  He has your future planned out.  He has hope for you.  The gift of hope is worth everything.   What is he looking for from us?  Why does God want us to seek him with all of our heart?  He wants a personal relationship with you!  Prayer is just a conversation with God/Jesus/Holy Spirit.  He wants our total surrender.

What do we get in return?  You will never know the answer to that until you have a personal relationship with him.  What are you waiting for?  The invitation has been sent.  What will your RSVP say?  Yes I will be attending or no I am not able to come at this time.
