What Matters Most.  By Christina Cannon.

What Matters Most is God’s Thoughts Toward You!

Psalm 139:17-18 NASB

“How precious also are Your thoughts for me, God!
How vast is the sum of them!
Were I to count them, they would outnumber the sand.
When I awake, I am still with You.”

We were adopted as sons and daughters.

Ephesians 1:5-6 NASB

He predestined us to adoption as sons and daughters through Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, with which He favored us in the Beloved.”

Even if you were rejected, abandoned by someone else, God has not abandoned you.  When you accepted His invitation to become His son or daughter, you were adopted through your union with Jesus.  He became your Father.

You were created by the Master Creator.  Your security comes in knowing that you were awesomely and wonderfully made.

Psalm 139:14 NASB

“I will give thanks to You, because [a]I am awesomely and wonderfully made;
Wonderful are Your works,
And my soul knows it very well.”

You were made complete when you entered into a relationship with Jesus.

Colossians 2:10-11 (NASB)

“and in Him you have been made complete, and He is the head over every ruler and authority;  and in Him you were also circumcised with a circumcision performed without hands, in the removal of the body of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ”

We know that life has dealt us much pain and heartache.  It is a process to begin believing that our Creator loves us that much.  However, to experience true freedom, we must accept His invitation to be made whole.  The journey to wholeness is hard but so worth it.  It starts with believing that God loves you and He is for you.  You are valuable and worth Jesus giving up His life for you.  He died for everyone.  Not just a few.

Begin believing!

Ephesians 3:14-19 NASB

“For this reason I bend my knees before the Father, from whom [every family in heaven and on earth derives its name, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner [self, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled to all the fullness of God.”

God’s value of you is the only one that truly matters.  Once you get that established and secure that truth, you will not doubt your worth again.
