Who Are the Wild Ones?  By Denise Dright.

I was told that I was a wild one by my dad. He said I ran wild, but I thought of myself as being curious and curiosity meant inquisitive desire to learn. At the time, I knew I wanted to run, where I was going, why I was going, but what it would look like when I got there, I was totally clueless.

In 1970 I was on my deathbed when I heard the Lord say to me that I have a destination and a purpose.

^“For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope” (Jeremiah 29:11 NLT).

This told me I had a destination, so I trusted in the One I didn’t even know.

“You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed.” (Psalms 139:16 NLT).

“Low and behold”, there was more to my being, and it was found in a book that I was given so long ago. This was the start of knowing who You were to me, but the call to where and why I was going, I would not know it then.

“I’m the way, the truth and the life” (John 14:6a NLT)

“For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun!  Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness.” (Isaiah 43:19 NLT)

In my wilderness journey I didn’t see, nor did I really understand that the Lord was leading, seeing, saw, knew, kept and so protected me. I’m not going to give dates, timelines, names, pictures, places, not even where all the” hidden bodies” are, but I’m going to share His journey with and for me. I’m still learning to understand the daily importance of the meaning of repentance, forgiveness and to say yes to total surrender.

“Choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve…But as for me and my household, we [ I chose ] will serve the Lord.” (Joshua 24:15 NLT)

There in this scripture I found

Immediate Action.

Personal Responsibility.

Clear Direction.

A word given to me:

that every day there’s a new wild journey that is taking place in the lives of many.

I found out I’m not the only, but one of many, that have been sent out on the fringe of this world to the modern church culture. I’ve been told I speak loud with a soft, deep voice that will crush people’s barriers and express what I came to understand in my relationship with Jesus; sharing the wisdom and truth that comes from the Holy Spirit. What He has done, is doing, and will continue to do to those that seek to be set free and live for Jesus.

“Jesus is alive and is coming back.”

I’ve been told I’m a playwriter, storyteller, secret agent, colorful, artistic, eclectic, even eccentric. I was given a word that I am a package of dynamite, and that dynamite comes in small packages. I’m of the religious system disrupters who can agitate and aggravate the spirit of complacency and compromise. I, as many, may not fit in programs or skillfully crafted boxes. I have found myself convicting the lukewarm with a cool fire and zeal for the Lord that brings about introspection.

I can be as unpredictable as the wind, because I’m of the Spirit wind of God. I make every evil spirit nervous because I’m one of the breakout ones! I am confident that the

“good work that God has begun in me will be perfected” (Philippians.1:6 NLT)

and that “I have not been given a spirit of fear but of power, love, and a sound mind” (2Tim.1:7 NLT).   

I didn’t know that exploring wisdom and seeking God was what I was to do. But I had no one to tell me of the thngs of God, so I found myself being distracted by the things of this world that I thought was important for me. All the dos and don’ts that would strengthen or break me came with being a wild one with uncharted worldly maps.  As a wild one. the Lord had already gone before me and promised

“Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord will personally go ahead of you. He will be with you; he will neither fail you nor abandon you.” (Deu.31:8 NLT).

I’m not the only wild one that has been sojourned on His path, there are many of us that cannot tolerate anything that hinders the free flow of the Holy Spirit. We welcome Him in, even if the church or people don’t want His presence. We are those who know that we are of the

Wild ones running hard for our King Jesus.

The radical ones.

The swift to listen and obey the voice of God ones.

The dead to self, laid down life in total surrendered ones.

Finding that surrendering our lives to the Lord is a daily, transformative journey of trust and being able to shift to divine guidance and continually align to His will. Settling for anything less than real revival fire is not an option. The ones that can’t get enough of

The raw word of God.

The correction of God.

Truth of God.

The spirit of God, to lead us into greater glory and freedom in God.

We’re the wild ones who are accused falsely.

The misunderstood,

The dreamers and the doers,

The ones “for if God said it, that settles it”.

” God is not a man, so he does not lie. He is not human, so he does not change his mind.
Has he ever spoken and failed to act?” (Numbers 23:19 NLT).

“Your eternal word, O Lord, stands firm in heaven”. (Psalms 119:89 NLT)

 For us, nothing is impossible for those who believe.

 “What do you mean, ‘If I can’?” Jesus asked. “Anything is possible if a person believes.” (Mark 9:23 NLT).

 To be unbridled lovers,

the Joel 2 army carrying uncompromised revival fire to burn up everything in our wake!

To be righteous rebels against sin and dead religion.

We are the John the Baptists of our generation dressed in and feasting on everything that is offensive to the pervasive Pharisaical Spirit that is ruling over the house of God in our time.

We are the pure ones who will call out sin and not tolerate Jezebel.

We are the gospel runners with hooves like thunder carrying the good news into the darkest nations of the earth.

We weren’t made for small pews,

restrictive rituals

and social niceties.

We were made for wide open spaces to run, dance and sing of the goodness of our God.

We weren’t put here to please or make comfortable.

We are here to please God and God alone.

We carry Christ’s suffering as our own.

We were made for more than ordinary.

Created for conflict and born for battle,

 “keeping the full armor of God on at all times” (Eph.6:10-17).

 Our assignment is to prepare the Bride of Christ,

 “making her a radiant glorious church without wrinkle or blemish, Holy, ready to meet her king” (Ephesians 5:27 NLT)

 So, who are the “wild ones”?

Are we ready to run because the greatest hour is coming?

 This is the breakout moment breath of this new season. It’s coming when the religious who once rejected and disregarded you will run to and ask for an impartation of the spirit of God (oil) that is on your life.

 But Matt.25:1-13 tells us of

The Wise and Foolish ones,

The Delay,

The Midnight Cry,

The Out of Oil Problem

and the Locked Door.

This is when your story plays out into testimony that will be sought out, offering solutions to the issues that the church has been too silent on.

 This is your moment to use the skills in places that you learned from the Lord in your wilderness spaces. Here it is, it’s coming, the hour to shake off the restraints.

 “We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith Because of the joy awaiting him, he endured the cross, disregarding its shame. Now he is seated in the place of honor beside God’s throne.” (Heb.12:1-2NLT)

 ^“Don’t you realize that in a race everyone runs, but only one person gets the prize? So run to win!  All athletes are disciplined in their training. They do it to win a prize that will fade away, but we do it for an eternal prize.  So I run with purpose in every step.” (1 Corinthians 9:24-26 NLT

 The word tells us this,

 “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, and I have remained faithful.” (2Timothy 4:7NLT).

 My prayer is that we may continue to fight a good fight, to finish this race that is before us and to be faithful to the very end.

 “But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.” (Isaiah 40:31 NLT)

 I love how God our Father, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit relays His heart through the prophetic ones. My spirit was so excited to hear this word for me, and that I wasn’t the only one. There were times I didn’t know He was for me and not against me. I thought for all those years I was a disappointment, first to myself, and to Him. But to read what was written about me and then to share this with others excites me. I hope this encourages you to be wild.

It’s about to get WILD up in this nation’s church!!!

So as one of many WILD ONES,

 God, we decree, 

RELEASE THE WILD ONES,

RELEASE THE WILD ONES,

in Jesus’ Mighty name!
